The user has the option of restricting or completely rejecting the acceptance of cookies by changing the settings on his browser. However, this may lead to restrictions in the functionality of our website.

We use two different types of cookies on our website: First, we use cookies that are automatically deleted from the user's computer when the user logs out of the internal area of our website or closes his browser. The task of these cookies is to ensure, using a so-called session ID, that the individual requests of the browser used by the user can be assigned in such a way that the user's computer can be recognized when returning to our website and thus the assignment to a common session is possible.

Independently of the type of cookies mentioned above, we also use cookies that are automatically deleted after a predetermined period of time, whereby the respective storage period and thus the respective deletion time may vary. Irrespective of this automatic deletion after a certain period of time, the user has the option of deleting these types of cookies himself in the settings of his browser.

If the user has registered for the internal area of our website, we also use cookies that can identify the user if he or she returns. This enables the user to use the internal area of our website without having to carry out a registration process.

However, these are not processed via the user's browser, but via the Flash plug-in. The user has the option of preventing the processing of Flash cookies by using appropriate add-ons for the browser used.

Furthermore, so-called HTML5 storage objects are used on our website. In this case, data is stored without the involvement of the user's browser in such a way that it is not subject to automatic deletion due to the lack of a specified storage period. The user can prevent the use of these HTML5 storage objects by either using appropriate add-ons for the browser used or by activating the so-called private mode integrated in the browser, if applicable.

Irrespective of the aforementioned measures, the user has the option of manually deleting the stored cookies and the other data stored via the browser.
